Mas Virgili

The rural houseMas Virgili is located in the municipality of El Milà, which belongs to the province of Tarragona.

It is a farmhouse located within two hectares of plot in which, not only can you enjoy its large outdoor areas, but, inside, the rooms are very spacious and offer many possibilities for enjoyment.

This rural home is designed for occupancy of a maximum of 14-16 people, making it a perfect type of accommodation for large groups that need time to disconnect from the big cities or for some type of special celebration in good company.

Its main rooms are divided into:

• A large kitchen that is perfectly equipped, facilitating daily activity in this space. It is a kitchen in which up to half of it is occupied by green tiles that combine with the wood tones of the countertop around which the different appliances are distributed; the most important ones you can find in any house. In this space there is also a cupboard with some of the dishes that you can use and a light wood table for breakfast.

• A beautiful living room that shares space with the dining room on a floor in which we wanted to preserve the open concept. In the living room, three comfortable sofas are distributed depending on the orientation of the wood-burning fireplace which will be the conductor of heat in this room.  In addition, centrally, there is a restored wooden table and, on both sides of the fireplace, awork library with a large collection of books that you can enjoy without problem. Finally, the jewel of this room is the piano. The dining room, for its part, consists of a huge wooden table with chairs for all the inhabitants of the house and is located in a room separated by an arch that makes the ceiling and two pillars.

• 3 complete bathrooms which, having been recently restored, have all the modern attributes; with showers, sinks and toilets. 

• 6 bedrooms of which: 4 have a double bed, one of them being a suite. The other two have been equipped with 2 single beds to which it is possible to add an extra bed in each one. They are very large spaces in which there is also capacity for wardrobes, tables and desks. All this crowned with ceilings in which the wooden beams are visible to the naked eye.

The exterior part is, without a doubt, the largest, housing on its esplanade a huge garden which is accessed through a glass porch that opens the views of this entire outdoor space and which has been perfectly equipped with furniture. A barbecue area could also not be missing to enjoy a good lunch or dinner outdoors.

In addition, several garden tables and chairs have been distributed throughout the surface, highlighting the pool, which is fenced.

The specific location of Mas Virgili is the municipality of Tarragona called Milá, in theAlt Camp region.

It is in this space where nature, tradition and architecture complement each other, allowing tourists to take routes to discover its corners or contact its pure nature.

We say that it is a natural area because of the forests and flora that surround the river that runs through El Milá; the Francolí River, which stands as one of the predominant rivers in the province of Tarragona and which ends in the Mediterranean Sea.

As for architecture and tradition, the Parish of Santa Úrsula stands out, with its Gothic-modernist style. This parish was built in honor of its patron saint, after whom it is named, and whose festival is celebrated the penultimate week of the month of October.
