This beautiful Catalan farmhouse was built in the 17th century on the outskirts of Joanetes, a municipality belonging to the Garrotxa region, in Girona.
The farmhouse is surrounded by large meadows and forests, full of cultivation areas where the most characteristic vegetables of the region grow.
The house preserves numerous details of its original architecture, but has been restored and currently accommodates the most modern needs.
Inside, you will find 6 double rooms with bathroom, of which 2 have 2 single beds, and the other 4 have a double bed.
If you are a large group, you can rent the entire house, with capacity to accommodate a maximum of 15 adults and 3 children (with additional beds).

I am Gemma Puig, born on the Costa Brava in 1974, and mother of 3 children.
Irento this accommodation in Joanetes since 2014, a town where I live since 2002, the year I started my relationship with my current husband, Santi, a town farmer, who later encouraged me to restore and reactivate the tourist activity of the house, which even having the license of Casa Rural de Catalunya, was abandoned.
My intention is to feel the traveler who is in a simple, but friendly and cozy place.

The accommodation is at a strategic point within Catalonia, one hour from the beach, the high mountain and Barcelona.
The accommodation is at the same time in an area at the foot of the Puigsacalm, with great views and a thousand paths, 1.5km from the green - Bicicarril and Camino de Santiago. We are 7 km from the city of Olot, 30 minutes from car from such beautiful and emblematic sites such as: Besalú, Santa Pau or Rupit, Etre others.
We bet on ecological issues, we are inside the European Sustainability Charter, we bet on a natural pool and the generation of outdoor electricity with solar panels.

- The Puigsacalm mountain, an ideal place to enjoy days of hiking or practicing mountain biking with the family.
