This beautiful Catalan farmhouse was erected in the XVII century a the outskirts of Joanetes, a municipality belonging to the region of Garrotxa, in Girona.
The farmhouse is surrounded by wide meadows and forests, full of growing areas where vegetables grow more characteristic of the region.
The house retains many details of its original architecture, but it is restored and currently accommodates the most modern needs.
Inside, you will find 6 double rooms with bathroom, of which 2 house 2 single beds, and the other 4 consist of a double bed.
If you are a large group, you can rent the entire house, having the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 15 adults and 3 children (with additional beds).

I am Gemma Puig, born on the Costa Brava in 1974, and mother of 3 children.
I have been running this accommodation in Joanetes since 2014, a town where I live since 2002, the year in which I started my relationship with my current husband, Santi, a village farmer, who subsequently encouraged me to restore and reactivate the tourist activity of the house, that still having the license of rural house of Catalonia, was abandoned.
My intention is to make the traveler feel that he is in a simple place, but friendly and welcoming.

The accommodation is at a strategic point within Catalonia, an hour from the beach, the high mountains and Barcelona.
The accommodation at the same time is located in an area at the foot of the Puigsacalm, with great views and a thousand trails, 1.5km from the greenway - bicicarril and road to Santiago. We are 7 km from the city of Olot, 30 minutes by car from such beautiful and emblematic sites as: Besalú, Santa Pau or Rupit, etre others.
We are committed to ecological issues, we are within the European Sustainability Charter, we are committed to a natural pool and the generation of outdoor electricity with solar panels.

- The Mountain Puigsacalm, an ideal place to enjoy with family hiking days or mountain bike.
