Mas Duran

Our farmhouse is located in La Pera, a municipality of only 450 inhabitants located in the province of Gerona. Specifically, in the region of bass Ampurdán.

It is a perfect accommodation to combine the relaxation of nature, with cultural visits, since the urban center of Gerona is only half an hour by road. 

Built in the seventeenth century, the farmhouse has been totally renovated to feel comfortable during the stay. However, we wanted to keep elements of its architecture to create a charming rural atmosphere.

The house can be rented in its entirety or by rooms, having sufficient equipment to stay a maximum 17 people. 

The 6 rooms of the interior, are distributed as follows:

• 3 bedrooms are double, counting on them with a marriage bed.

• a room is triple, with marriage and a simple.

• 2 bedrooms are quadruple, with marriage bed and 2 simple. 

The decoration of each room is unique and different, so that you have where to choose. However, in all of them we respect the stone walls of the walls, combined with the softness of the bedding and the furniture so you can sleep as kings. In addition, each room has its own bathroom, with bathtub.

The rest of the interior stays, understand them:

• The cuisine, dominated by metallic tones in appliances.

• The dining room, a lovely rural space located under wooden beams seen and with rustic wooden furniture.

Going out to outer , you can enjoy a huge garden surrounded by the beauty of nature. It is one of our favorite spaces, because in them it is possible to combine the tranquility of the environment with leisure and fun, because it has:

• outdoor pool, open in summer seasons.

• traditional stone barbecue, for banquets with all guest.

• playground, with swings for kids.

• football field, to enjoy the shared sport.

In the immediate vicinity of the farm you can practice all kinds of activities with which to enjoy the nature that surrounds us: kayak for adventurers, equestrian for horses lovers, diving to know the ins and outs. 

Our privileged location will allow you to enjoy the best beaches of the Costa Brava, visit the city, and the medieval peoples of the surroundings.

The old town of the pear is located at some 800 meters.
Less than 2 kilometers is public, a town closely linked to the dalí artist. there is a museum that makes a tour of his life. 

At the same distance there is preinyá, where you can visit the church of Sant Andreu, belonging to the twelfth century.
