La Quintana del Gallo IV

Our farmhouse is located inside a private property that we have in the Asturian municipality of Selorio, more specifically in the Terienzo neighborhood. Large area of fenced land, whose access door leads us to the house through a green area full of trees and different plantations.

Along the way stands one of the most unique elements that the house preserves, the hórreo. This space is large enough to also serve as parking for several vehicles.

As it is a quintana typical of Asturian countryside areas, we wanted to preserve some of its original components, such as the stone and wood that make up its structure. Despite this, it was renovated thinking about meeting the needs of the 6 guests who, attracted by the tourist offer that the region offers, decide to stop by the house.

It is distributed over 2 floors. The kitchen, along with the living room and one of the bathrooms are located on the ground floor. Curtains instead of doors cover the storage spaces in the kitchen, an L-shaped corner equipped with large and small appliances. The dining room and the living room merge into the same space. There is no shortage of table, sofa and a comfortable armchair in front of the television. From this room you can access the terrace, covered and with garden furniture to enjoy the outdoors at any time of the year.

On the first floor there is another bathroom, unlike the previous one, this one with a bathtub. It is shared by the 3 bedrooms, with lots of light, closets to store personal belongings and all of them double.

Our accommodation offers diverse tourism possibilities. For sea lovers, the property is close to Rodiles Beach, a natural space where you can spend the day, which has a picnic area and other hospitality services in the surrounding area. Those looking for privacy and a different landscape will find it in Gulpiyuri, a kind of natural pool formed by the position of the rocks within the sea.

Those who prefer long walks have it easy in Picos de Europa. Trails to explore on foot or by car that lead to places of great attraction such as the Sanctuary of Covadonga, the Roman bridge of Cangas de Onís or the fishing port of Cudilleros.

Rich and abundant gastronomy in which there is no shortage of fabes, which when washed down with a culín of cider become a delicacy. In the Museum dedicated to it located in Nava they will teach you how to pour it and will bring you closer to the properties of this renowned drink.
