La Posada de Grimaldo

Our house is located in the town of Grimaldo, a town located in the center of the province of Cáceres, very well located and connected via the A-66 to visit other charming towns such as Trujillo.

It is an old roadside inn, a few centuries old. A recovery project that we are carrying out, with our hands, and with our resources, little by little, and in parts.

It is a house with capacity for 6 people without counting the extra beds. It can be rented in its entirety or by rooms and is made up of:

• Living room with kitchen fully equipped with household items and appliances. You will find a washing machine, microwave and ceramic hob. Thegranite countertop is very easy to clean, which is always nice, and even more so on vacation. You have a wooden table to eat for up to 6 people and a comfortable 3-seater sofa where you can sit to rest or continue the after-dinner meal. Here you will also find television. In this room the decoration is relegated to the background due to thevaulted ceilingsand thenatural stone wallin which you will find a window with views of the garden. 

• 3 double rooms with 2 single beds fully furnished and with individual thermostat. They are each decorated with their own style that characterizes them. They all have a private bathroom with a shower.

• Patio built with recycled materials from the house where you will find garden furniture, ideal for enjoying outdoor dinners on long summer nights.

• Parking area with capacity for several cars. 
• A large garden area where our organic garden is located, the basin with water from the mountains for irrigation and a pond with fish.

We provide you with thebeddingand thetowels that you may need.

We do not allow animals in principle, it depends on the client and the pet. To confirm, contact us.

Our inn is located in Grimaldo, a small municipality that belongs to the province of Cáceres. It is a strategic place to visit some of the most beautiful places in Extremadura, such as:

• Cáceres, a historic city declared a World Heritage Site where you will find a multitude of corners that will take you to another era. 

• Trujillo, a town known for its high historical and cultural value, also called "City of Conquerors." 

• The Jerte Valley, a beautiful natural environment made up of thousands of cherry trees that, when they bloom, transform the landscape into a sea of white and pink petals. 

• Monfragüe Natural Park, a space through which you can take a multitude of routes to discover the varied flora and fauna of the area. It is also a perfect place for bird watching.
