La Fuente del Monte

We put at your disposal a rural house located in the town of Caballar, a town in Segovia.

The rural accommodation is completely rented.

It is the perfect place for small families or couples, as it has the capacity to accommodate 4 people, distributed in 2 rooms, both on the ground floor:

• A room with a double bed and an integrated bathroom with a bathtub.
• A room with 2 single beds and an integrated bathroom with a bathtub as well.

The rest of the rural accommodation is completed with a kitchen that has all the necessary supplies for your stay; a toilet equipped with a hair dryer; a cozy living-dining room with flat screen television, DVD, collection of board games (for the whole family to entertain themselves) and wood-burning fireplace.

In addition, the house has a cellar in the basement, and also a backyard that is equipped with a barbecue and paella pan. Outside the rural property we also find a covered porch where you can have lunch or dinner outdoors.

Our rural accommodation was inaugurated in 2006. For its construction, stone and wood were used, and even tiles carefully designed by hand.

As complementary equipment there is electric heating in all rooms and mosquito nets on the windows.

We have additional services that can be requested, such as the possibility of traveling with pets or WIFI connection in every corner of the house.

Crockery and kitchenware are included.

Firewood is also included to light both the fireplace and the barbecue.

The most notable natural environment is theHoces del Río Duratón, a tributary of theDuro River. We are talking about a Natural Park that expands over 27 square kilometers. This natural area is a refuge for birds such as the griffon vulture.

Just 30 kilometers away is the ancient city of Segovia; a historical-artistic complex with some interesting monuments and places such as:

• Alcázar of Segovia, former residence of the kings of Castile. It stands out for its ornate rooms following the Mudejar pattern. 
• Cathedral of Santa María, consecrated in the 18th century. One of its characteristics is that it is the last Gothic-style building built in Spain.
• I recommend that you come and have a drink at the"El Rubí" tavern (very close to the Plaza Mayor), the oldest tavern in the city.

Also within walking distance is the Royal Site of the Granja de San Ildefonso, where the Palacio de la Granja is located (in imitation of the French Versailles and burial place of King Philip V and his wife); or theRoyal Crystal Factory (a neoclassical building from the 18th century that was ordered to be built by monarch Charles III).
