La Fuente del Poval

The rural house La Fuente del Poval is located in the municipality of Caballar, within the province of Segovia.

Our accommodation, in a stone façade, contains inside a couple of floors in which up to a maximum of 8 people can be accommodated, with all the comforts provided by our house, which is equipped with functional furniture that creates a very pleasant climate.

Inside, the rooms are divided into:

• A typically traditional kitchen in which the wooden cabinets protect the different elements of the kitchenware, which help in the work of cooking. It also has a complete set of appliances in perfect condition. In the same space, awooden table with benches in the same material to sit and eat.

• A living room with a main attraction that is the French fireplace, in the corner, for which the firewood is provided. Around it, several armchairs and sofas and a side table that faces the plasma television with its DVD system and USB port. It has a collection of board games for those moments of fun together. Regarding the dining area, it consists of a large long table, made of wood, with chairs that are located next to the stairs leading to the upper floor.

• 3 bathrooms distributed on the two floors that have full bathrooms and which consist, first of all, of a whirlpool bathtub, the second of them, a normal bathtub and the last, with a shower and its screen. They also havetowel sets.

• 4 double bedrooms; half with two single beds and the remaining two with a double bed in each one. In all cases, the rooms have large space allowing, in one of the spaces, to integrate a small area in which there is an armchair and a sofa. Bedding is included for these complete and illuminated rooms in the house.

Outside, for good weather, there is a terrace with its awning, under which garden tables and chairs have been placed that open their views to the rest of the uncovered patio and a multipurpose room with billiards, table football, dartboard and barbecue  next to which is the dining room, with a wooden table and benches.

It is an area that is structured in a main nucleus in which the urban center is located and which is surrounded by nature areas that allow tourist activities related to the most natural environment, such as hiking routes.

Within the nucleus that we talked about previously, is theParish Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, which follows the construction lines dictated by the Romanesque model and was built in the 13th century and is the current concentration point of Christian worship.

It is an area where tourists enjoy all kinds of activities.
