La Casina del Fornu

A traditional holiday home located in the Asturian town of Corias, belonging to the Council of Pravia.

Its stone façade and the warmth of its rooms make it the perfect accommodation for visiting Asturias as a couple.

It was built at 2 heights and, despite preserving its original character, each of its corners has all the necessary services to make the stay more comfortable.

The bedroom is a spacious and comfortable space, with a romantic air. It is located on the upper floor of the house, which is why it has the sloping ceiling and the wooden floor. The bed is wrought iron and there is also space for a chest of drawers with a rustic-style mirror and a small corner with light and an armchair, perfect for reading moments. A bathroom adjoins the bedroom, perfect for relaxing in your Jacuzzi tub.

On the ground floor are the toilet, the kitchen and the living room, in which the fireplace and the armchairs are the star elements of the room.

The kitchen communicates with the dining room thanks to the fact that it is American style, open with a window, which is what makes it communicate with the living room. It has different electrical appliances such as microwaves or washing machines, among others. You can use the kitchenware and utensils that we put at your disposal, which are found in the dark wood cabinets.

For its part, the dining room has this same wood. It has a round wooden table with chairs around it. You can also use the chair while you watch the television or listen to music thanks to the mini chain with speakers that we put at your disposal. All this while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace.

In the autumn months, the collection of mushrooms and chestnuts in the surroundings of the house is frequent. If the weather is bad, we offer you a movie service that you can rent at the Pravia video store.

Pleasant walks through the square and the park of Pravia and if you are lucky you can come across the market, which is held every Thursday in the town.

It is also close to coastal areas of great beauty such as the beach of San Pedro de la Ribera and inland areas such as the Cuevas de Candamo. If you have time, don't forget to stop by the fishing village of Cudillero.
