El Dolmen

This rural house Asturian composes one of the 2 accommodations of the complex of Las Casas de Aldea el Teixo. Close to the coast, but entered into a unique mountainous area, this house is ideal to host a group of about 7 people.

This cozy abode has 3 floors y access to it through a small hall from which you can reach a large - dining room. It has a wooden table with capacity for 6 diners. At the back of the room, a chimney of gray bricks is surrounded by 2 armchairs of 3 seats each, for 2 armchairs and for a low center table. In one of the corners is the TV.

On this ground floor you can also enjoy a kitchen completely equipped. It consists of a small wooden table with capacity for 4 people, different furniture with granite countertop and new appliances: refrigerator, hob, oven, washing machine and microwave.

The house has 3 bathrooms, one of them on the ground floor, with bath, and another 2 on the first floor, with shower and accompanying 2 of the rooms. Both have a sink and mirror

On the first floor, the accommodation is divided into 3 double rooms. The first of it has sloping ceilings and has 2 large beds placed opposite. Another room also has 2 small beds joined together and the third one has a large double bed. These rooms have their walls lined in stone and their roofs con wooden beams.

The accommodation has a second and last floor of ceiling with sloping roof. It is a common area with armchairs and tables to enjoy a moment of tranquility.

In the outside, the house has a pool private discovered and fenced. Around there are a series of hammocks to enjoy the good weather and has lights in case the night falls during the bath.

In the same area there are some swings and a slide for use and enjoyment of the little ones. The house also has a porch with the necessary furniture.

This country house is located on north of the peninsula, in a small Asturian town from which you can enjoy excellent views of the valleys and mountains that both characterize the area.

This accommodation receives the name of ' El Dolmen ' because the area and the Asturian district are very common this type of prehistoric constructions.

Not only is it advisable to visit the town of Ponticiella, but also those that are located at a short distance, such as Grandas of Salime, in which a huge water dam is located.
