La Casa del Vado

This beautiful place is located in the town of Hervás, north of the province of Cáceres. It is considered one of the most beautiful towns in Valle del Ambroz. One of the strong points of Hervás are its half-timbered streets and Jewish buildings that make up the Jewish Quarter of Hervás.
This rural house is located within the town with some beautiful views of the river to be able to get away a little from everything and relax without noise. The rural house is intended for a maximum of 2 people and is separated into 2 floors. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, toilet, a kitchen and a living room.

The ground floor of the house has a nice and a spacious lounge to make you feel as comfortable as possible. This room is made up of a series of wooden furniture that gives a rustic touch to the living room.
For cold days and nights, the house has a charming fireplace to liven up the moments of board games or puzzles that the room has without getting cold. In turn, the house has heating for the different rooms. And for hot days, the apartment also has air conditioning. And to make you feel totally at home, the residence has y Free Wifi y flat screen television.

Connected to the living room is a beautiful rustic brick built kitchen. This room is very well lit where you can practice the best recipes in the area, since it consists of everything possible to make you some fantastic dishes.
In the upper part, we find the bedroom of the house. A spacious room, where in the center of it is the double bed including its bedding. On both sides of the bed, there are the small tables that, like the rest of the house, have a rustic touch to store your belongings. It also has 2 2-door wooden cabinets to store all the luggage.
The upper bathroom has everything you need, the rural house itself has a free toiletries. Unlike the toilet on the ground floor, this one has a bathtub to give you a relaxing bath when you get tired of the routes or visits to the valley. Other things included in both bathrooms are hair dryer, towels, shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper.
Other of the things that the house includes are: clothes iron, washing machine, protective rails for babies, coat rack, portable clothesline.

If for any reason the guests wanted a extra bed or a baby cot, it would have to be done by request to the owners, having a price of € 15 per night.

El Valle del Ambroz is one of the most beautiful valleys in the north of Extremadura. What makes this place stand out from the rest of the valleys are the towns that encompass it. Highlighting the town of Hervás above the rest.
About 4000 people make up this town, famous mainly for its Jewish quarter. This place was declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1969, belonging to the Network of Jewish Quarters of Spain. Losing yourself in its streets will end up filling you with history. The good conservation of the site, makes it stand out among the network of Jewish quarters.

In the summer months the town fills with tourists, with the arrival of the festivities. At the end of June, and to commemorate the Jewish past of the town, the Fiestas de los Conversos are commemorated, where many activities are held for all members of the family. For the lovers of hiking, this place has several such as La Chorrera, El Pinajarro or the Bosques del Ambroz. And for those who prefer the bike more, the “Heidi Track” route is a true success that you cannot miss.
