Huerta del Cañamares

The rural accommodation Huerta del Cañamares is located in the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park, in the valley of the Cañamares River, in the province of Jaén.

It is a farmhouse that has 2 hectares of land and that houses countless amenities so that our guests, who in this case can be up to atotal of 30 people, feel at home.

The house consists of:

• A fairly spacious kitchen, perfectly equipped for the indicated occupancy volume, integrating several commonly used appliances under the countertops that, both large and small, make the stay easier for our guests. There are items of household and tableware for all users.

• A large dining room in which the rustic decoration that adorns the walls stands out, with floral elements as well, which have been made with the vegetation of the area. This part of the house is made up ofseveral tables spread throughout the space, made of wood, which includes their benches.

• A living room with a multi-seater sofa facing a bench with cushions on which many people can sit, in addition, several armchairs and atable, handmade from an old yoke, in the center, leaving all the prominence to thewood-burning fireplace, perfect for those cold months in Jaén. He also has histelevision to distract himself.

• A leisure room where there is a foosball table and a pingpong table to enjoy in company. It also has decorative elements and rest areas for sitting on its walls.

• 9 bathrooms perfectly equipped with toilets, sinks on which mirrors have been arranged, basic daily hygiene products and showers, one in each one. Also,several towels so you don't have to worry about anything.

• 9 bedrooms that randomly include bunk beds and double beds, single bunk beds and single beds that are also combined with bunk beds. In these large spaces, the windows are an essential element, allowing light to enter the room, illuminating the wood of the beds and their colorful bedspreads.

Our large farmhouse is located on the Cañamares River, in the municipality of Cazorla, belonging to the province of Jaén.
The number of natural spaces that tourists can walk through on hiking trails and, of course, mountain trails stands out, since it is part of the lowest area of the Sierra de Cazorla; hence, its mountainous profile is quite notable, providing a very pleasant dose of nature.

Continuing with this natural part, the Guadalquivir River bathes its lands, growing on its banks the hydrophilic vegetation characteristic of these humid areas.

The most characteristic point is the Castillo de La Iruela, a consequence of the presence of the Arabs in the area and with characteristics of its architecture visible. It is, therefore, several centuries old. It is located in a privileged area, in one of the highest parts of the mountain.
