El Zaburdón - El Duque

Almost on the edge of the town ofGil García, we find this charming house designed for 4 people. 

This house has 2 floors, it has a lot of charm and is built in stone and with wooden floors. Here you will find:

• On the ground floor there is a unique living room-dining room-kitchen space with half of the exposed stone wall and the other half in raw tones and with ceilings with exposed wooden beams. Here there is a beautiful stone fireplace in one of the corners and next to the exit to the garden patio, where a lot of natural light enters and floods the entire room. There is also the bathroom.

• In the living room area there is a small sofa with two wicker armchairs, a sideboard and a 32" TV.

• In the dining area there is a table with 4 chairs and in the kitchen area a glass-ceramic hob with two burners, an undercounter refrigerator, a microwave oven and a sink. It also has small appliances such as a mixer and toaster.

• The garden patio has furniture: chairs and tables to enjoy the outdoors.

On the upper floor you will find the 2 bedrooms, both with balconies overlooking the mountains and the forests. One of them with a 1.50 cm bed and another with 2 single beds of 90 cm.
And if you want you can come with your pet, which is welcome.

In this town of Ávila, in El Aravalle, you can take pleasant walks through its streets and along the paths that connect Gil García with several neighboring towns. In fact, if you practice hiking, the AV51 route takes you to some of them and goes up to the Galingómez mountain range or the town of El Barco.

The Lagunas del Duque and the Trampal are beautiful places to visit and where you can swim in the summer months. You can reach them by bike, as there are several routes for lovers of 2-wheeled sports. Although for those who like skiing you also have the option of going skiing to La Covatilla, which is about half an hour away by car.

In some of the aforementioned towns, viewpoints have been created so that on clear nights you can see the stars and admire the Big Dipper, Cassiopeia and many more constellations. You can find these in Umbrías, Puerto Castilla and Nava del Barco.
