El Escalerón

This accommodation is in the Serranía de Cuenca. It has capacity for 12 people, so it is perfect to come as a family or group.

The property is divided into 4 houses, with capacity for 6 people each.

Their interior is designed in a simple way but taking care of the finishes and details, in order to create a practical, cozy and pleasant environment.

There are 2 bedrooms in each house:

• One of them for marriage and storage spaces.

• The second one with 2 single beds.

In addition, the homes have an identical structure of the common rooms. The first space we find as soon as we cross the threshold is the one shared by the living room on one side, the dining room in the middle and the kitchen on the other side.

In addition, the fireplace located in one of the corners will welcome us and encourage us to spend the nights chatting around it. They also have a television.

In the kitchen, which has a breakfast bar, there are appliances such as a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave...and we will give you soaps and cloths.

And finally in each house we have a large bathroom with a bathtub and for which we will also provide a set of towels per person.
Finally, the outdoor patio is shared by the 2 homes, and there you can prepare your favorite food on the barbecuewith views of the mountains. In this same sense there is a large table with chairs and umbrellas.

The rural house is located in Uña. Within the town you can enjoy a unique natural environment. You must visit:

• The Laguna de Uña and the Escalerón a la Raya route, where you can observe different landscapes such as gorges or walk along the mark left by the sea hundreds of millions of years ago.

• If you want to take a bath, it is best to do so in the natural pools of the Pozas de Royo Frío.

In addition, the house has different places of interest around it. The Enchanted City is one of them. It is located 10 km from the house, and we will contemplate how the action of wind, ice and water have molded rocks into recognizable shapes.

Another obligatory appointment will be to visit the city of Cuenca itself, 35 km away and photograph the so-called Hanging Houses next to the San Pablo Bridge and taste its typical morteruelo dish in one of the bars next to the Cathedral.
Finally, a natural landscape worth visiting is the source of the Cuervo River, 40 km away, which takes on a more special air during the winter when the jets that originate from the spring freeze.
