El Cañizar

We put this rural house located in the town of villarquemado, located in the province of Teruel.

It is a 2 plants building whose exterior and interior areas were recently designed and with the best materials. It has been integrated all kinds of technologies thus improving the safety and well -being of our visitors. In an attempt to facilitate the stay with this, we also achieve greater energy savings respecting as far as possible the environment that surrounds us. 

In addition to its automaton and functional character, its interior consists of diaphanous spaces equipped with a modern and traditional air at the same time.

We have the capacity to accommodate 6 people, which can be distributed in 3 double bedrooms, located between the ground floor and the upper floor. one of them incorporates 2 individual beds and the other two large marriage bed. Share 2 bathrooms equipped with shower dish and a most current design.

On the ground floor a kitchen-dining room is located, wide and equipped with everything you could need during your stay. The fireplace of firewood presides over a small living room next to the kitchen.  It is the climbing stairs to the first floor that separates this area from the living room. A cozy corner with leather sofas and a plasma television for your free moments. 
A wide terrace

It is the radiant soil who is responsible for keeping the house warm in winter. 

In spring, the outer patio will be one of the favorite areas.  In it you can prepare great barbococas, and it will be in the terrace where you will enjoy the magnificent Turolenses views.

We also offer the possibility of using the bicycles available to our rural house. If you go by car you will have no parking lot outside the house.

villarquemado is part of the Jiloca Valley and offers several tourist interest points such as:

• Laguna del Cañizar, one of the largest wetlands in the country and place of passage of some migratory birds. It is this lagoon that gives name to our home.
• Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, with several centuries of antiquity.

Teruel is just 10 minutes by car from our rural accommodation and its streets offer a wide exhibition of Mudejar art:

• Torre de San Pedro and Cathedral Tower, raised in the thirteenth century
• Torico Plaza, whose main source do not forget to take a photo
• sepulcher of "The lovers of Teruel" popularly identified with Romeo and Julieta, in Spanish version.

albarracín is another place that we recommend you. A charming city that retains the medieval flavor in its monuments, among which are the Castillo and the Walker Tower.

If you plan to travel with children Dinópolis is just 20 minutes by car from the house. This is the largest theme park in Europe dedicated to the world of dinosaurs.
