Cortijo Alcibara

This rural house is located at Vélez-Rubio, Almería.

You can stay up to 14 people in their 6 bedrooms (plus 2 extra). It has 6 bathrooms, s dining room with fireplace and a spacious fully equipped kitchen, also an outdoor space on the side with barbecue, wood oven and glazed outdoor dining room and covered pool.

As soon as you enter you will find the living-dining room, divided by a column. On the one hand, the dining area, with a large table for 10 people and another for 4. On the other hand, the living area is located next to the fireplace with 2 3-seater sofas each, two individual armchairs. Behind it the entrance to the kitchen opens, without a door and which is shaped like an arch. It is a very large area, with a lot of space between the tables and the furniture and very bright, since it has large windows.

The kitchen is very spacious and has a table for 4 people, a large fridge and separate freezer. 4 burners in the kitchen, electric oven, extractor hood, dishwasher and sink. In addition, is equipped with, among other things, with: microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. and the corresponding kitchenware, crockery and kitchenware such as pressure cooker and paella pans.
The beds in the 6 rooms are distributed as follows:

• 2 bedrooms with double bed.
• 2 bedrooms with 3 single beds.
• 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds.

Each room has its own television.

4 of the bathrooms have a shower and 2 of them have a bathtub.
The outdoor space has wood oven, barbecue, sink and dining area. Next to it is the indoor pool with hammocks.

At the front there is a very spacious and open terrace , with a small round table and 2 chairs.

The house is located at the foot of the Sierra de las Estancias. From there you can see the entire valley, of the same name as our town, as well as the mountains of María and Mahimón, which is located within the Natural Park.

As for the monuments to visit, you have the possibility of seeing the great Church of the 18th century, declared a National Monument, the Miguel Guirao Ethnographic Museum, the Palacio del Marqués and the Convent. Or get lost in the streets of Vélez-Rubio among stately houses, being declared a Historic-Artistic Site. You can also have lunch, dinner or tapas in the many bars in Vélez-Rubio and enjoy its terraces in summer.
From Vélez-Rubio you will be 160 km away from Almería and 108 km from Murcia. In both cities you can visit from beaches to historical monuments.
