In the town of Lucainena de las Torres, in Almería, we have this farmhouse that offers its rooms to tenants interested in visiting the most unforgettable places in Almería.

Built in the mid-19th century on a plot of 19,000 square meters, it served in the 50s of the 20th century as a small school for the children of Rambla Honda. It was restored in 2012, maintaining the typical aesthetics of an Andalusian house and the materials used in its construction, but implementing a series of modern improvements, to guarantee a stay with all possible comforts.

It can be rented in its entirety or by rooms. In total it has 3 rooms, 2 triples and one double, to accommodate a maximum of 8 people in the house. The double room has a double bed, and the triple rooms have 2 possible configurations: 3 single beds or a double bed and a single. This way of distributing the rooms gives it great value when it comes to hosting families or groups of several people.

The 3 rooms have private bathroom, with shower and well equipped. In addition, in a separate space from the bedroom, they have a living area with a sofa bed and flat screen television; They also have a mini-bar fridge and stove. Towels and bed linen will be provided to guests.

Apart from the room, there are a number of common areas for use by guests of all rooms; These areas enjoy a cleaning service, and in some of them there is access to internet via Wi-Fi. The first of all is the kitchen, which can be accessed independently from each room; It is large in size and is perfectly equipped and distributed to be used by several people at the same time.

Also inside we have a hall at the entrance and a central hall, with space and sofas to meet and chat, or simply rest a bit. A laundry room completes the range of household appliances.

In the farmhouse there are several terraces, properly furnished, including a huge porch with a eucalyptus tree over 100 years old, and a terrace with barbecues. Olive trees and various fruit trees grow on the immense outdoor terrain; there is also an organic garden, and the rest of the land is populated by typical vegetation: thyme, marjoram, pine...

The accommodation can include the breakfast, and there is a parking area where you can leave the vehicle safely. Pets are allowed, upon request and on the condition that they are not left loose or unattended on the premises; There is an accommodation area for dogs, designed so that owners do not have to leave their pets far away.

The surrounding environment lends itself to exploration, and you don't have to go far to find interesting places to visit.

A short distance away we find the Sierra Alhamilla Natural Park, a mountainous system with a subarid climate, with 8500 hectares, and one of the Sites of Community Importance of Almería and Special Protection Zone for Birds, due to the variety of these species who live here.

Alhamilla is the prelude to the Tabernas Desert, a sub-desert landscape with sparse vegetation, with towns and landscapes that have served as the setting for well-known western films, and places of interest, such as the Tabernas castle, a Nasrid fortress.

To the north you can find the Karst in Yesos de Sorbas, a karst formation that includes a system of caves and canyons, with crystallizations of gypsum and limestone. There are very few in the world, due to the rapid deterioration processes they undergo, but the one in Almería is one of the best preserved in the world, due to the low rainfall in the area, which slows down the process.

A 20-minute drive away is Níjar, a beautiful town in whose region is the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, a natural area with green landscapes of exuberant vegetation and steep cliffs over the sea, which extends from Cabo de Gata and its beautiful beaches to Níjar, passing through several points of tourist interest, such as Agua Amarga, Los Escullos and the Pozo de los Frailes.
