Our rural house is located in Carcelén, a corporation belonging to the autonomous community of Castilla La Mancha. With a volume of 12 people, with the 2 extra beds,, this home built in 1923 has been recently renovated, preserving its primitive architecture of loose stone and mud walls.
Casa Segundo, is part of the complex " Casas Rurales Tío Segundo ", which is made up of 2 homes. Casa Segundo and Casa Maruja. Our houses are prepared to accommodate large family groups of 16 to 20 people.
Both share the use of a spacious patio-garden, with barbecues, garden furniture, fruit trees and aromatic plants, which will delight adults and children.
Casa Segundo, is distributed in 2 floors, this residence can be described in its lower floor as follows:
- A living room of 50 square meters made up of disparate home furniture where a wood-burning fireplace stands out that heats the entire room during the cold winter phases.
- A dining room attached to the living room equipped with a large table where all diners can gather and comfortably savor the usual foods of this town.
- A kitchen supplied with all types of state-of-the-art appliances such as an oven where you can easily prepare the region's typical sweets or a dishwasher to clean the dirty dishes that appear at each meal.
- A bedroom with a double bed adapted for people with reduced mobility. X
- A complete bathroom, , provided with all types of household utensils where a hydromassage shower stands out for impeccable personal hygiene.
- 3 rooms with single and double beds freely selected by the tenants for a quiet and peaceful personal rest.
- A 12 square meter lobby where there is a sofa that, if necessary, can be used by residents as an extra bed.
- A bathroom equipped with all types of household linens, including a hydromassage shower for unbeatable personal hygiene.
- A garden area with garden furniture where residents can quietly enjoy an aperitif.
- A barbecue where you can prepare tasty barbecues with the exquisite local meat.
- A private parking with paved access to the home where guests can leave their personal cars with complete freedom.

We are Segundo, Joaquín, Miguel and Soco Minguez Vera.
Our "Casas Rurales" Tío Segundo, born in 2007, as a tribute to our grandparents and parents, to maintain the legacy of so many years of hard work in the field and also restore the home where we grew up, scene of so many games, joys and fights of our childhood
What today is Casas Rurales Tío Segundo, was built in 1923, by our paternal grandfather, known as "El Tïo Segundo", raised with his own hands to form a large family. Its use was basically as a farmhouse, but also was occasionally used as inn carters and burriqueros, which dedicated to the trade of need "estraperlo" in the postwar period, traveled this route from the Levant to La Mancha and vice versa, using this point for rest and sometimes for the exchange of products of first necessity: flour, oil, fruit..
With this legacy of house always open to the traveler and the family, strategically located in the border of La Mancha and Levante, we set out to return its original essence, so that our home again witnessed laughs and hugs, dinners family, nights of games and the good memories that each guest leaves behind.
For this reason, from Casas Rurales Tio Segundo, we thank all our customers at heart for trusting us, for taking care of our house as if it were yours, for enjoying your visit and, above all, for restoring life and happiness to those who It was our home
