Casa rural La Cueva

Our house is located in Gata Robledillo, a beautiful municipality of Cáceres famous for its popular architecture and for the natural environment that surrounds it. 

The accommodation, which has capacity for 5 people if one of them sleeps in supplementary bed, it is a house with more than 150 years old and has been rehabilitated following the traditional style of the area.  

The house is distributed in 3 levels and it is composed:

• fully equipped cooking with household appliances and household items that you need to feel at home and do your stay as comfortable as possible. Highlights the use of wood that matches the wooden beams views of the ceiling. The kitchen area is covered with tiles to facilitate the cleaning of the space. It is located in the same space as the living room - dining room. 

• lounge - dining room furnished with several sofas and a table to eat in group and update your things. In this room you will also find the television. It is an ideal zone to relax since it is very spacious and bright. From here you have access to the cave - Bodega excavated in clayey rock. 

• Cueva - Bodega, which has banks to sit arranged around a center table. Surely it becomes one of your favorite places in the house for its freshness, charm and originality. 

• 2 double bedrooms with marriage bed. They are totally furnished so that you do not miss and have no problems when placing your luggage. If you need it, and under request, we can add a supplementary bed in exchange for a special rate.

• 2 bathrooms complete with shower or bathtub, as appropriate. 

The last floor, which is abuhardillada, has air conditioning. The rest of the house is heated with heating.

In the rental price we include the bedding and the towels.

Our house is located in Gata Robledillo, a beautiful town of Cáceres that has been declared a cultural interest, due, among other things, to be a clear example of black architecture. In addition, it is very close to other places of tourist interest, such as:

• the pool, a city that houses numerous religious buildings of high artistic and cultural value. You can also visit the Batuecas Valley, a beautiful landscape in which its pine forests, oaks, holm oaks and chestnut trees. It is a perfect ecosystem for the many animals that live in it. 

• Ciudad Rodrigo, historical town whose origin dates back to the Bronze Age. Visit the numerous monuments that attest to the passage of history through the municipality and you will discover endless anecdotes and curiosities. 

• historical villas of the Portuguese line, set of 12 villas that hide castles, walls, cannons and deep valleys. Walk its streets of granite and slate, you will feel like in a story. 

• Cáceres, a city declared a World Heritage by UNESCO. When you visit it you will discover why.
