Casa Rural Garnacha de Borja

In the village of Borja, in Zaragoza, two things have a lot of reputation: their wines made with Garnacha variety grape and the famous picture of the ECCE Homo. It is an original destination if you feel like discovering any of the peoples of this province.

In this rural house they can stay up to 11 people, living in these spaces:

• 2 bedrooms with a marriage bed each. They are spacious rooms with the ground made of tiles, and the wall covered with paper of beautiful pink flowers. Each room has at least one wardrobe and small furniture such as some chair or night tables.

• 3 bedrooms with 2 individual beds each. These are simple double rooms with natural light thanks to the windows. Each has several furniture to store clothes, as well as heating.

• 2 bathrooms. They are distributed in the different plants of the house. One of them has a relaxing shower with hydromassage jets and rainfall. In both cases they are equipped with toilet and sink. They are shared bathrooms.

• living room. It is the largest common room in the house. It consists of a dining area with a long wooden table painted white. At the bottom of the room there are a couple of gray sofas that can be displayed in sofas-chama. In front of them there is a brick fireplace, as well as a flat screen. On the first there is an elegant gold wall clock.

• cuisine. It is a small but practical room, full of appliances to help with daily tasks. It has a washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. On the countertop there is also a hobrorate. In the center of the room there is a breakfast table with a white and blue tablecloth. Here is also the boiler.

The house has a wide terrace with armchairs, chairs and tables, in addition to a barbecue to be able to eat outdoors and enjoying the views of the Borja field.

In the lower part of the house there is an open and outdoor space with a private pool zone.

Sanctuary of Mercy, 5 km from Borja is a small municipality in Zaragoza that many failed to locate on the map until a few years ago, when their painting restored from the ecce homo turned the world. Today is one of its great attractions in addition to its beautiful natural environment and their tranquility. Place of centenary pines and vineyards, wineries and beautiful landscapes within the Garnacha Route.

Other places to see are the Museum of Religious Art of the Collegiate Church of Santa María, built in the twelfth century, in Borja, its churches, its medieval streets and its beautiful square.

There is a Jewish neighborhood in which the market place stands out, where there are some old statements, in addition to the Torreón de los Borja, which rises above the other buildings.
