Casa rural El Rincón de la Olvido

This rural house lifts its walls in the town of Vellisca, belonging to the province of the Hanging Houses, Cuenca.

With a capacity for 11 people, is the right accommodation to go with the whole family or with friends to spend a few days of rest and tranquility wrapped in all the possibilities offered by the house.
This home loja is formed by 3 floors that house the necessary rooms to make guests feel at home.

On the floor under the house we find:

• A living room consisting of 2 black chairs with capacity for several people, in the center there is a small white table. Place indicated to relax after a long day and meet with family or friends to chat.

• Next to the living room, there is the dining room. A large wooden table painted in white, surrounded by several chairs, allow tenants a seat to enjoy a special meal around the table. A television flat located on top of a wooden cabinet allows customers to watch a movie or a current program.

• A American kitchen, in the same space as the living room and the dining room, is delimited by the start of the stairs that go up to the mezzanine floor. Fully equipped and with vitroceramic, has all the necessary appliances to meet the needs of tenants.

• 3 double bedrooms with interior bathroom in each one of them. 2 of the bedrooms are formed by a XX 2 bedding, while the remaining bedroom has 2 single beds The rooms are large and spacious and decorated in pastel colors.

• 3 full bathrooms in each of the bedrooms. The house makes towels available to guests.

In the mezzanine the following stays are arranged:

• 2 double bedrooms, one of them with double bed and the other with 2 single beds. They have cabinets to store luggage. They are warm spaces that invite you to rest for the comfort of your mattresses. As in the low floor, the decoration is based on pastel shades.

• A full bathroom fully equipped and for the shared use of the 2 bedrooms of the mezzanine.

There is the possibility of requesting a extra bed.

Finally, one of the most special places in the house, the attic, designed exclusively for the entertainment of the guests. Decoration wood and with large windows that illuminate the space, it becomes the ideal place to meet and entertain with the different alternatives that it offers. Una television de plasma, located opposite 2 large armchairs, allow to convert the space into a small cinema. A small table tennis is the ideal entertainment for both adults and children.
Undoubtedly, one of the most characteristic and beautiful spaces of the house.

In the outside, a patio with covered areas and areas without roof, gives the possibility to guests to enjoy a meal outdoors at one of the tables that are made available. Also, for sunny days, a large umbrella. One of the fundamental components of the patio is the barbecue, which allows to organize a meal that everyone likes on the outside of the house.

Vellisca is the town where the house is located. It is a small town with just 200 inhabitants who live off agriculture. The hermitages and churches are some of the monuments that you can see if you take a walk around the place.

A few kilometers away is the city of Cuenca, known for its Casas Colgadas as they are the most characteristic element of the city. In addition, it has different squares and gardens to stroll through while enjoying the views of one of the most characteristic cities of the Iberian Peninsula.

With regard to gastronomy, it is based on the food of the shepherds, being able to taste dishes such as the partridge in all its variants or the ajoarrero, made with bacalo and garlic.

A simple but very beautiful city, surrounded by the essence of its inhabitants, always hospitable to the amount of tourists they receive.
