Description of Casa Rural Doña Vela
The rural house Doña Vela is located in the Malaga municipality of Riogordo, belonging to the region of Axarquía.
Located in the middle of the mountain, this old farmhouse built three centuries ago, has been transformed into a rural house through reconstruction and conditioning techniques that have allowed it to be made habitable.
A rural accommodation of 2 floors con capacity to accommodate 10-14 people where we found:
Finally, the house has a large outdoor area in which the main attraction, in addition to the pool, is the arbor, with several tables and chairs and a large barbecue. All this together with the spectacular landscape of the mountain, make this part of the house one of the favorite ones.
On the roof we have installed solar panels so that the energy consumption is more sustainable.

- 6 double rooms of which 4 have a double bed and the other 2 have two single beds. As for the decoration, it follows some lines of rustic style very similar to the location of the house. They are rooms designed for a pleasant rest equipped with wardrobe in each of the rooms, tables and windows. We also offer the possibility of requesting a cot.
- 3 full bathrooms ; with hydro-massage bath, shower and bathtub respectively, decorated with tiles and rustic furniture in wood, as well as the floor of the bathroom on the top floor, which is also made of wood. All the bathroom linen is provided in the house.
- A spacious area for the living room in which both environments are different thanks to a brick arch. In the living room, the arrangement of the sofas is oriented according to the fireplace and television, both attached to the wall. Our fondness for hunting is appreciated on the walls. The dining room, meanwhile, has a large table and chairs for all guests.
- The last stay is the kitchen, with all kinds of appliances (wood oven, microwave, coffee maker ...) and necessary utensils; with countertop and stack of old-style natural stone. In this area of the house we wanted to add a small wooden table, for breakfast.
