Description of Casa Rural Cal Fuster
Our accommodation is located within the province of Girona, where you will be able to enjoy the best vacations in the Terrades area.
It is ahouse with a lot of history since 1851, and is now structured as a perfect rural tourism accommodation to make you feel at home.
Regarding the capacity of the house of 350 meters, it is for a maximum of 12 people who will find the following rooms inside, all of them well structured in:
- A large living room with television located on the ground floor of the house, which has the armchair in front of the wood-burning fireplace that provides warmth. In the same living room we have the dining table where we can eat as a family.
- The kitchen has an L-shaped countertop where you will find the cabinets, appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven and ceramic hob) and the necessary kitchenware so that you can prepare all the dishes you want, as if you were at home. In the center, a wooden table with its set of chairs so that you can all eat together.
- 6 spacious double bedrooms, which are distributed so that on the ground floor we have a double bed for people with reduced mobility or who do not wish to climb stairs. On the first floor there are the remaining 5 bedrooms, of which 4 of them have a large double bed while in the fifth, there are a pair of single beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom equipped with everything you need for your comfort.
On the exterior we have:
- A pleasant porch with a chill out area to relax outdoors.
- A large garden space with games, a place to walk, sunbathe in the hammocks or bathe in our summer pool, which is fenced for greater security.
- Barbecues we have 2, one of them closer to the house and another at the end of the garden.
- A parking area with charging for electric vehicles.
Upon arrival, a tourist tax per person/night must be paid at the accommodation, according to rates approved by our Autonomous Community.

About Marta, Owner of Casa Rural Cal Fuster
We are Marta and Josep, the owners.
Josep is the fifth generation of the house, which was founded and built by his great -great grandparents in 1851.
We like to receive our clients, know their preferences and advise them in detail so that they can enjoy the environment to the fullest during their stay.
We have designed a comfortable space to share quality time with friends or family.
It has a large garden with ping-pong, basketball hoops, games, as well as an outdoor pool and hammocks available in summer to cool off.
It is an ideal house for families since the little ones also have their space to play, both outdoors and in the games room.
Excursions in the mountains, rural roads, coastal paths or bathing in beaches that are about 30 minutes from home.
If you prefer to visit museums, both in Figueres, Portlligat and Púbol, are the three municipalities called "the Dalinian triangle", towns linked to the painter's career and Salvador Dalí's birthplace.
If you prefer natural spaces, just a few kilometers away we have 4 natural parks, P.N. Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, the natural area of l'Albera, P.N. the P.N. from Cap de Creus and the Montgrí Natural Park and the Medes Islands.
If you like walking, the "Camino de la Muga" runs along the river for 40 km. from its source to its mouth in Empuriabrava. It can be enjoyed on foot or by bicycle, or in sections.
Empuriabrava ("the Catalan Venice") is a town about 25 minutes away, with more than 20 navigable kilometers where you can practice water sports and rent boats without a license to navigate its canals.
You can contemplate the Bay of Roses and Cap de Creus, and for the most daring, go skydiving or try the Windoor Realfly fall simulator, since this town has one of the best facilities for skydiving in the world.
Another option is to walk along the different coastal paths, visit medieval towns such as Vilabertrán, Castelló d'Empúries, Peralada, Sant Llorenç de la Muga and much more.
