Casa Rural Ahora

Our rural house belongs to Cortes de la Frontera, but, in reality, we are closer to El Colmenar, province of Málaga.

It is a large estate with several buildings of whitewashed walls, which fit very well with the environment covered with vegetation. There are details in color, for example in aquamarine tones, and also in wood. We wanted to do it all and build from the respect for nature.

We have 7 rooms, of different types, but all in keeping with the rustic and careful style. In total, we have capacity for 16 people.

One of the fundamental things of our accommodation is the spa. Since our goal is for our guests to connect with nature, forget their worries and get away from the noise of the city, we have created this magical place for complete relaxation. The facilities have, first, a ozone jacuzzi, but also Turkish bath and sauna and, of course, different water jets. You can also enjoy a refreshing clay bath. But we not only have the equipment, but we also have the best professionals to provide you with the massages and treatments that your body needs.

After the spa, what could be better than relaxing in our spacious garden? It is a large plot, full of plants, flowers and even fruit trees. Throughout the garden you will find charming corners, a hammock hanging between trees, some sun loungers facing the mountain, some armchairs in the middle of the lawn... All designed for you to soak up nature.

To continue, after pampering yourself on the outside and contemplating the landscape, it's time to take care of yourself on the inside, thanks to our restaurant. There we serve organic food, with natural products and without chemical treatment, to ensure that the dishes have all the flavor.

The dining room has direct access to the patio, so the tables and chairs will have plenty of light. In this room there is a fireplace, trying to respect the environment, taking advantage of the remains of wood from the forest. We also have a sitting room, with armchairs and reading material. Here there is also a fireplace installed, whose heat we use to heat some rooms.

Our intention is to be self-sufficient and not damage or overexploit nature, which is why we increasingly produce more of our own energy, both electricity and to heat water, using renewable resources.

The most characteristic of our farm is its proximity to the River Guadiaro. It is a beautiful channel, very well cared for, which gives us another element to enjoy the wonderful nature that surrounds us. There you can bathe or relax in its vicinity. In addition to being able to bequeath directly from the house, the birth is also very close, in the Cañón de las Buitreras. This area has been declared a National Monument, thanks to the impressive cliffs and cliffs carved by the river.

Not only the river, but the entire environment is worth it. The location is in a hollow, with the Sierra de Ronda on one side and the Campo de Gibraltar on the other. In addition, we are surrounded by the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, which provides us with the necessary vegetation.

We are also close to the Costa del Sol, you can go to different towns in Málaga, such as Estepona, to bathe in its beaches.
