Our rural house is in full Vall de Boí, very close to the Pyrenees. In the past, the houses were barns to work the fields, but now it is modernized and full of comforts. Perfect for 4 people.
Our 2 bedrooms are like this:

In the living room you have a television plasma, sofas and even radio to listen to music. There are also X table games. The sofas are placed in front of the television, while the dining table is against a cobblestone wall in front of the kitchen.
The kitchen, meanwhile, has a little bit of everything to make your stay simple: dishwasher, ceramic hob ... It is of type office, is open to the living-dining area. Many cabinets with door and drawers will help you to place all the kitchen utensils.
Another option is to take the barbecue that we have in the yard, which is shared with the other rural house that you have next.
