Casa María - Casas Rurales Caravaca de la Cruz

Caravaca de la Cruz is the town in which this rural house is located, belonging to the province of Murcia and characterized by the natural environment that surrounds it. Next to it, there are 5 more rural accommodations that form a tourist complex that have similar characteristics, only differing in their capacity. 

This particular accommodation has the possibility of hosting a maximum of 4 people, making it the ideal place to go with the family or a small group of friends. Leave aside the routine for a few days and enter an area far from the urban center that guarantees guests the peace and tranquility of an environment made up of springs, massifs and unique flora and fauna. 

The house is made up of the following rooms:

• Rustic kitchen but fully equipped with the latest generation appliances. Marble countertop in which 4 burners are made to create exquisite dishes. The household items as well as the crockery and cutlery are distributed on its shelves and spaces arranged throughout this room. It also has a large refrigerator so that guests can store all their food without space problems. 

• Thedining area is just a few steps from the kitchen and is made up of awooden table with 4 chairs around it. This is the corner of the house where you can get together as a family and enjoy the typical cuisine of the area. 

• Theliving room is one of the most welcoming spaces in the house and is made up of 2 sofas so that all tenants can find their place to rest. Between these 2 pieces of furniture there is a wooden table on which a pot with a pretty flower is resting. A flat television with DVD is presented as the perfect audiovisual alternative for relaxing moments and is located in the middle of the fireplace, ideal for cold seasons and a built-in shelf that stores the rest of the dishes. 

• 2 double bedrooms, one of them consisting of a double bed while the remaining one has 2 single beds. This is the perfect layout for a family with children. The walls of these rooms combine wood with white colors and paintings hanging on them. With respect to the furniture that the bedrooms have, a place is made for nightstands and wardrobes. 

• Complete and shared bathroom for all tenants staying in the house. It has a bathtub so that guests can relax during the bath. In addition, the house provides you with basic towels and body care products. 

A small porch on the exterior where there is a table with several chairs so that tenants can get some fresh air while having breakfast or reading. 

For hot days, the complex has 2 swimming pools, one for children and the other for adults. Both are in common use for all the houses that make up the complex.

This complex of rural houses is located in the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz, in the province of Murcia and just a few kilometers from the beach. 
This beautiful town has several places of interest, headed by its most representative monuments, which are theBasilica de la Vera Cruz or the Parish Church of El Salvador, whose architecture is Renaissance. 

Regarding the natural environment, close to the house is the Fuente del Marqués, these are beds with crystal-clear waters, being considered one of the most beautiful places in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula. In addition, different routes start from that point that ascend to the mountains of Caravaca, such as the road to the Nevazo. 

The city of Murcia is another almost obligatory visit for all tourists who visit the area. This city is represented by the Cathedral of Santa María, I consider one of the most emblematic buildings because it is the headquarters of the diocese of Cartagena. In addition, you can visit the old town and walk through the Plaza de Belluga, located next to the Episcopal Palace. 

Regarding its gastronomy, the most popular dishes are zarangollo, from the Murcian orchard, and michirones, a stew composed of dried broad beans, chorizo and ham.
