Casa Leocadia

La Casa Leocadia is part of a nice complex of 2 cottages in the town of Tudera de Sayago. It is an estate with patio and garden that is common for both houses, which are separated by a hall and a door. In case of renting the 2 houses the whole enclosure would be for you.

The main feature of our accommodation is that is very familiar and everything is very careful to the smallest detail. We have taken care of preparing each room with great care by making wooden furniture by hand, for example headboards or lamps. The decoration is very rustic but with a tonality that brings great joy to the house.

In the ground floor we find everything very diaphanously. The room, dining room and the kitchen are united but well differentiated thanks to the furniture they have each one of them.

The living room has several large sofas that face the furniture with the television. Right there we have the fireplace also that helps to heat up all the accommodation and create the perfect environment. You can make use of the table games that we have in this part of the house. No doubt a very cozy place to enjoy with family or friends.

There is a dining table that is of authentic design, with trunks and glass. Without a doubt a jewel inside the house. It serves to separate the living room from the kitchen. A kitchen in which we see a simple furniture that is perfectly combined with the rest of the house and that also integrates all the tiles appliances that we have left at your disposal.

By a staircase that is in the same room we access a attic area where we find a single bed that is ready with sets of sheets and blankets. The other bedroom is on the ground floor and is the main one. With double bed, the furniture is dark wood, headboard and matching cabinets and highlight the original table made with a trunk.

The bathroom has a very elegant finish in which stands out the shower with glass screen and a basin in the shape of a bowl. There are several pieces of furniture to organize your toilet products.

On the outside of the house there is a patio with all the furniture made of stone, very nice tables and benches that give a different air to this area of ​​the house. There is a barbecue also to organize delicious meals. Undoubtedly the area that calls the most attention is the heated pool since it is large, both for adults and children, and can be used throughout the year. This area is shared with our other house but still remains a very intimate and personal place.

Tudera is a small town with few inhabitants but it has a landscape that makes it a place worth visiting. It is inside the Natural Park of the Arribes del Duero and precisely the River Duero is that it borders with neighboring Portugal.

Within the town it is worth mentioning the little houses that run through all the streets that have hardly asphalt, they are original sand. There is a lot of vegetation that gives a lot of color. The hermitage of Santa Bárbara and Santa Catalina we are going to contemplate one of the few monuments that are standing. It is in very good condition. We can also stroll through the Roman bridge that runs through the town.

The natural park of The Arribes del Duero is the clear protagonist of the area. It is a protected area in which the Duero and Águeda rivers form a natural border with neighboring Portugal. It is very well preserved due to the little human presence that there is in this area in the surrounding villages.
