In the region of Pla de l'Estany, en Girona, very close to Banyoles, this rural house stands in a complex of restored masoverías of the sixteenth century. Located in a charming town in the region, Cornellá del Terri, and well connected to the road system, this house is a fabulous choice if you want to be near the Costa Brava and surrounded by medieval architecture and worthy natural sites to visit.

With individual heating in rooms, the house distributes its rooms between two floors. The 3 double rooms are on the top floor, one of them with double bed, and accommodate up to 6 people, 7 if they bring with them a small guest, for which you can ask a cradle, subject to availability. The rooms are intimate and familiar, with wooden furniture and bedding in warm tones, which invite rest and tranquility in a safe environment.

The main living area of ​​the house is on the ground floor, and is large enough to house a living room, a dining room and a kitchen, without cramped or squeezed.

Between the living room and the kitchen we have a table and several chairs, which make up the dining area, enough for the six people who can stay in the house. The kitchen extends its countertop along the corner and below a horizontal flip-up window; includes, apart from the well-known refrigerator and the ceramic cooker indispensable to not miss the meals prepared at home.

2 complete bathrooms complete the list of interior rooms of the house: one of them, with shower, on the ground floor ; on the upper floor is the bathroom with bathtub, between the rooms. Both come with the included towels, and are bright and spacious.

The outdoor area of ​​the house shares its facilities with the rest of the complex. It is a pleasant environment where the green of the lawn dominates everything, just stopping at the terrace with pergola where are the barbecues, and the pool area, large, surrounded by sun loungers for sunbathing or lie down for a while to rest outdoors. On the lawn there are tables and chairs, ready to play, read or eat without any roof over them.

There is also a farm with horses and other animals, which you can visit to learn more about these, and a o parking area for guests. There is also a playground for children, with swings, in case the pool is not enough. All this dotted with flower beds and trees that reconcile the architecture with the natural environment.

The house is in an unbeatable setting to combine the rural tourism with the beach and adventure. Las beaches of the Costa Brava are barely half an hour away, and Girona about 40 kilometers away; the city of Figueres is also very close, and it is worth mentioning the Museo Dalí, whose architecture clearly alludes to the artist.

The area offers stunning panoramic views of natural landscapes. The Lake of Banyoles stands out, whose channels run through the city, and the vicinity of the town of Cornellá del Terri, with immense and impressive natural landscapes.

Another natural formation that should try to visit are the volcanoes of La Garrotxa, and the San Miguel de Campmajor valley. The close to the Pyrenees, with its high peaks and ski slopes, complete the repertoire of natural areas visits.
