Can Jou de La Miana

This accommodation is on the outskirts of San Jaime de Lierca, a town of the Garrotxa region, in Girona, which is crossed by the river fluviá.

Each house is rented in a full way and is perfect for large groups or families. It has capacity for a total of 33 people and has 10 rooms whose characteristics are:

• 2 of them are quadruples. 4 individual beds in each with bedding. 

• 5 are triples and have a marriage bed and another individual or 3 individual. 

• 3 are double and have either a marriage or 2 individual bed. 

All are equipped with sheets in addition to finding in them the bath towels. They have a cabinet, window, chairs and private bathroom with shower or bathtub. 6 of them have access to the terrace in which to enjoy wonderful views while breakfast. 

The inside of the accommodation, distributed in 3 plants, consists of:

• On the ground floor you will find all the rooms you need to feel at home. There is the cuisine fully equipped, a great dining room with capacity for all, a cleaning and the living room with television and sofas. 

• In the first floor there are 4 bedrooms being one of them quadruple, another triple and 2 doubles. 

• In the second you find a quadruple, 4 triples and a double. 

The exterior part of the house has:

• A fabulous garden in which to rest. 

• A pool to take a dip. 

• barbecue zone with tables in which to enjoy the best gastronomy.

The Garrotxa region is one of Girona's most beautiful. San Jaime de Lliecar is one of the villages that is located in it. With origin in the ninth century, this town is separated in 2 areas by the riverbed of the River Fluviá. Pines and oaks populate this place that goes into the region. You will enjoy an admirable landscape but, without a doubt, there are 2 places that will leave you speechless:

• Natural Park of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone. It is one of the best volcanic landscapes on the peninsula. At approximately 100,000 years, its more than 40 volcanoes are very well preserved and are integrated into a great oak vegetation, beech and holm oaks. The Hayedo de Jordá and the CROSCAT volcano are 2 of the most beautiful site found in this park and are worth visiting. 

• For this region you find one of the most beautiful medieval peoples in Spain: Besalú. With only 5 square kilometers of extension that extend from their Castillo, origin of the town, its streets will catch you. From a typical route of the time you will find important buildings such as the Jewish bathrooms, the bridge and examples of Gothic art such as the palace of the royal curia.
