Apartamento Blanco - La Casa Grande de Albarracín

Located in the Arrabal neighborhood which belongs to the National Monument that is Albarracín, this rural house is a perfect place to spend a few days with your partner in this charming little town or taking excursions through the mountains.

It is an old Aragonese farmhouse that consists of a main house and stables that has been converted to form a complex of 8 apartments.

On the second floor of the main house is this apartment, with capacity for 4 people, which is divided into the following rooms:

• A double bedroom decorated in white, which contrasts with the wooden beams that can be seen on the ceiling.

• A bathroom fully equipped with a shower tray.

• A living-dining room where guests can relax while watching a movie on television. The sofa in this room opens and becomes a double bed.

• Akitchen built in white that has everything necessary so that guests can do housework and meals with ease and comfort.

• A garden with a green area common to the entire complex where guests can walk or enjoy succulent breakfasts.

• A shared interior patio for guests to enjoy coffee or a snack. The patio also has a porch with sofas that serves as a reading area if it's not too cold.

• Acommon living room with a fireplace so that guests can sit sheltered from the fire with a book in their hands.

Additionally, the house offers:

• Internet connection via WiFi.

• Underfloor air conditioning so that the house has a uniform temperature.

• A laundry room with 2 washer-dryers for all guests.

Welcome to Albarracín, a small city of 1093 inhabitants that is located in the Sierra skirt that bears the same name. Due to the large amount of heritage it has and a historic center of singular beauty, this city has received the gold medal to merit in Fine Arts, it is a national monument and is proposed as a World Heritage for UNESCO.

Within the old town we can find the Castillo, which was finished restoring in 2009 to condition it to the visits. Within the walled enclosure, an archaeological field with medieval remains can be found, in addition to the residence, which was inhabited both by Arabic rulers and by Christian rulers between the XI and XVIII centuries. Outside the wall there are several defensive torres in which the soldiers monitored the arrival of the enemy.

Inside the Sierra, there are the pine forests of Rodeno. It is a protected space of 6829 hectares of extension that receives this name because the pines are settled on Rodeno, a red sandstone. In this forest animals such as the common squirrel, the garduña or the fox inhabit.
