Description of Hotel El Nido
This charming and unique rural hotel is located at outskirts of the municipality of Alaró, in the western zone of the island of Mallorca.
Specifically, it is located geographically at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana, about 25 kilometers from Palma, the capital of the island. So you will be surrounded by a natural environment where you can disconnect from everything, without being far from the big tourist centers.
The original construction of the hotel dates from early XX century y is linked to a beautiful family history. Today, it is fully rehabilitated, but continues to maintain the charm of past eras.
The interior of the hotel has the capacity to accommodate 10 guests, since it has 5 double rooms, which allows to offer a personalized service to the guests.
In the rooms you will find a double bed or 2 singles covered by bedding adapted for both summer and winter, as well as pillows and cushions that will guarantee a restful sleep.
Each room is decorated in a different way, but in all of them you can see characteristic elements of the Mallorcan architecture, such as windows or ceilings with wooden beams.

- A living room. In this room we distinguish 2 spaces: a more modern space with white nuclear sofas with a small table between them; and another more rural, with sofas in brown tones located around a fireplace for the coldest days.
- A cafeteria. In the cafeteria you can taste complete breakfasts with homemade products such as jams or biscuits.
- A garden with pool. A small sample of the beautiful vegetation on the island.

Sourroundings of Hotel El Nido
The Sierra de Tramuntana is a natural space full of incredible places. Proof of this is that since 2011 his landscape was declared by Unesco World Heritage.
For those who like the heights, the mountain reaches its highest point in Puig Mayor, a mountain with almost 1,500 meters high that make it the highest island of Mallorca.
If you want to take a walk along the water, inside there are 3 reservoirs: the Gorg Blau reservoir, the Cúber reservoir, and a third for military use.
After the walk through nature, you can go to the urban center of Alaró, where you will find several bars and restaurants with typical products of the island.
For cultural tourism, we recommend you to visit the Castillo de Alaró, from whose viewpoint you can see the bay of La Palma.
