Molino del Caracol

This house was once an old flour mill, until its owner saw its potential and decided to convert it into a beautiful rural house.

The architect George Barnes designed the project to convert this old mill into a habitable and charming house, but it was the former owner carpenter-craftsman who brought the rooms to life with hand-made furniture and finished giving it the homely touch that it currently enjoys.

The house has a fairly large living room, with a slightly vaulted ceiling. In it there is a red sofa bed, a coffee table, a television, a fireplace and a small library.
The kitchen area is ideal for getting together to eat with the family and sharing unforgettable evenings together.
It isfully equipped with the necessary kitchenware and appliances and a dining table for several diners. It maintains theaesthetics of a traditional kitchen, like the one our grandparents had, with wooden furniture and classic decoration.

The bedrooms, equipped with heating, are located in the upper part of the house. They have been decorated with care and are very cozy and bright, as they have windows to the outside. The rooms have the following characteristics:

• Bedroom with double bed and own bathroom fully equipped with all the necessary hygiene items.
• Attic bedroom with 2 single beds and beautiful rustic furniture.
• Attic bedroom with 1 single bed and nightstand.

In them there is the possibility of adding extra beds and a crib.

Outside we have a lunch area that connects to the house through the kitchen. Next to it there is a charming garden and a swimming pool with hammocks and solarium.

The house is located in the Malaga municipality of Benaoján.

It is surrounded by a landscape full of vegetation and forest, making it an ideal environment for relaxing, hiking or climbing or simply enjoying a few days with the family.

The town of Benaoján is in the heart of the Grazalema natural park, an environment where nature lovers will have a great time.

In this municipality we can also visit prehistoric gems such as the caves of La Pileta and El Gato.

The accommodation is located 134 kilometers from Malaga and close to Ronda.
