Colmenar de Montemayor is the municipality of Salamanca where we have built our rural house.
It has a tourist offer that goes through its natural enclave, which surrounds the whole plot and from which you can see the mountainous formations and the vegetation and fauna that cover them.
Belonging to the Sierra de Béjar, it is possible to travel through its territory on foot and observe its landscape, declared biosphere reserve. Due to its location, it is one of the coldest areas of this region of the Central System; in its surroundings, a ski slope called La Covatilla will be the key tourist spot in the winters.
On the other hand, in the center of the town is the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, of great size, built in honor of its patron.
