La Coja

This rural house is located in the town of Villanueva del Condado, in the province of León.

The accommodation is part of a complex, also integrated by the House El Porma.

When it was built, about 200 years ago, it was used as a farmhouse. It has currently been restored, although respecting the basis of the original building.

It consists of 2 plants in height and has the capacity to house 6 a 9 people.

The dining room is located at the base plant, chaired by a fireplace of wood. It has TV, DVD, tables and chairs for lunch or dinner.

The cuisine has a traditional line and has all the appliances necessary for the absolute comfort of the guests.

Going up the stairs we arrive at the upper floor, in which the bedrooms are found.

It has a total of 3 bedrooms with marriage bed, a room with 2 individual beds and another bedroom with a bed.

All rooms have bathroom, heating and a small storage room to store, for example, suitcases.

In the outer we find a large garden with a beautiful porch that provides shadow while resting in the chairs with which this account. It is a lovely area where you can enjoy a dinner elaborated in its great barbecue, surrounded by fruit and flowers.

We are in Villanueva del Condado, in the porma river, an area recognized by trout fishing fans.

In the town we can visit different monuments, such as the monastery of Santa María de Gradefes, a unique monument in Spain for its architecture. We can also give ourselves a relaxing bath in the municipal pool.

In the vicinity are Roman vestiges of the old city of Lancia ; In them we can observe remains of the constructions of these populations.

The Valporquero Cuevas are a perfect zone for speleology and to discover the stalactites and stalagmites that abound inside the cave.
