La Chimenea de Soria II

In 2007 we built this beautiful accommodation in the village of Espejos de San Marcelino. It is a large plot that houses a house with 2 floors in which there are 2 apartments, on the ground floor and on the first floor.

They can be rented independently or jointly, they have a common area, the large garden and of course all that entails.

The house is rustic style, you can see reflected in the facade but also in the interior. The furniture is made of wood and has certain notes of color that give some modernity to the house. In addition all the devices are very current so your stay in our house will be unbeatable.

At the second home, La Chimenea de Soria II, which is located on the ground floor, we will access through a patio and from there we will find a very complete accommodation:

• A kitchen equipped to perfection with appliances suitable to cook your favorite dishes in the best way. The whole kitchen has nice white tiles of small size that give a nice feeling to the wall and that complement very well with the wooden furniture. We are going to find a suitable table to be able to meet everyone to eat.

• The room is also light-colored. With several sofas, a TV and a small piece of furniture, in this case we have a pellet stove that lets you see the fire and is very ecological. It certainly creates a very beautiful atmosphere and the atmosphere is very cozy.

• As for the rooms, we have a total of 4. One of them has a double and single bed, another bedroom has 2 single beds, and finally 2 rooms with 2 double beds. Lots of space for everyone to feel at home. The beds are already lined with sheets and blankets and also have a lot of light coming from the outside of the house.

• There are 2 bathrooms that are very complete. They have a sink, toilet and a shower. The cabinets have the ideal space to place your toiletries and there are towels available and clean for all of you.

Outside the house there is a large garden that is responsible for surrounding the entire plot. It has an area destined to a picnic room that we have created. With stone ceiling inside there is a table and benches, in addition to a barbecue stone also. We also have a protected picnic area that has all the rustic elements that were formerly used, it is a delight to make meals in this part of the house. A playground closes this part of the house. Slides and swings so that the little ones are always very entertained while you rest in these beautiful vacations.

We are in the province of Soria, specifically in the village of Espeja de San Marcelino, a perfect place to meet the famous Canyon of the River Wolf. All a monument of nature in whose interior between so much cave and wild area we can see the hermitage of San Bartolomé.

Soria is characterized by the number of castles that historically were very important and that today are beautiful ruins that give the landscape a very special charm and are a frequent tourist spot. An example is the Castle of Gormaz, of Muslim origin built in the ninth century, was a very important fortress for the Muslim defense against the Christian kingdoms. Another important castle is the Castle of Ucero, defensive construction that is in the town of Ucero and that is on the banks of the river of the same name. And so countless places that you can meet for the many towns in the province.

If we decide to go for a walk around the capital, we must take into account the prominence of the Douro River, which we can see pass under the well-known Stone Bridge, whose construction dates back to the twelfth century. We can also get closer to his Plaza Mayor and go through all its streets.
