El Molino de Bretún - Casa Garduña

We present this beautiful accommodation that is located in the province of Bretun, in Soria.

It is an old mill of which we have respected its walls and part of the architecture, but which we have also rehabilitated to make it more useful. The result has been the creation of 2 beautiful houses in the middle of nature that will allow you to completely disconnect from the noise of the big city.

Our second accommodation is the smallest, but it is the one that preserves the most from the past. It is divided into 2 floors very well distributed and is perfect for a few days as a couple.

On the ground floor is the room which is a cave, the walls are original and what has been achieved is that natural light enters, creating a perfect little corner for resting. The bed is large and is already equipped with enough sets of sheets and blankets so that you don't get cold at all.

The bathroom is inside the bedroom and has a shower, sink and toilet. All with modern decoration and touches of color. It also has a piece of furniture to store your toiletries, and we have also left the towels available for the tenants.

On the upper floor we find the kitchen which is perfectly equipped with appliances so you can cook. All the furniture is made of wood and makes it a very cozy room. We also have a living room with armchairs, television and fireplace, it is a place in the house with beautiful views to the outside and as it has a sloping roof it has plenty of light. Another area has a dining table where you can prepare beautiful evenings with perfect views.

On the exterior of the house we have a large garden, it is common to the 2 accommodations we have, if you rent them together, you could have it completely. You can enjoy the picnic area with traditional stone oven and also the seats there to sunbathe.

Our town, Bretun, is characterized by the Icnitas Route, where you will discover the origin of the multitude of footprints along this path. But you have the possibility of moving through different places that will surprise you with the magic they give off.

Less than 23 kilometers away we arrive at Cornago, which although it is located in La Rioja, its proximity will allow you to see its famous castle and you can also walk through its streets and see how its houses are built. Following the route to more interesting castles, we will approach Gormaz, again in Soria. Of Muslim origin and built in the 9th century, it is a fortress that was once very important for Muslim defense against the Christian kingdoms. Currently the castle is abandoned but it has become a very beautiful tourist spot in the area.

We recommend that you visit La Fuentona to finish the route. It is a very characteristic aquifer of the area that has been declared a Natural Monument and whose waters are so transparent that you can observe all the richness that is inside.
