Etxalar is a town in northern Navarra, framed between forests, green meadows and mountains. It is located near the border with France and belongs to the beautiful surroundings of the Navarro Pyrenees.

Las Palomeras are well known in the area. It is a space in which a unique, artisanal and very unique pigeon hunting form is practiced through networks, in the autumn station. In this place, guided tours are made and for it the path of the Palomeras crosses.

Nearby we find the Monte Azkua, the Cuevas de Zugarramurdi (5 km) and the Natural Park Lordship of Bertiz (6 km).

If you prefer to enjoy the beach, only 22 kilometers are the Hendaya Beach, in France. Other beautiful places are for example Hondarribia and San Sebastián.
