Our rural house is located at Hondarribia, a town in Guipúzcoa (Basque Country) .
It is a rural accommodation consisting of 6 rooms with different characteristics and that are rented individually. The primary construction is a farmhouse, typical building of the Basque Country. Its facade, very representative, shows the wooden beams seen.
It has 3 floors: the top one is covered with brick, the second one is painted salmon and, finally, the ground floor is paved. It has 2 balconies very elegant, adorned with flower beds and flowers. The typical windows with shutters are proof of the style of the hamlet.
The exterior of the house is beautiful: a extensive prairie at 2 heights, completely covered with grass and even wild flowers. A cobbled path goes from the house to the lower part of the garden. There is a old wooden granary, completely restored, which has become a rural bungalow where you can stay if you want to be more separated from the rest of guests. X
In the garden there is a picnic table, very picturesque, and hammocks to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. All seasoned with numerous trees and flowers scattered throughout the land. In addition, the plot is surrounded by greenery, which encourages the bucolic air of the accommodation. If you want to get involved in full, we have a garden and farm animals, such as chickens and rabbits.
The main entrance to the house is wonderful, with a portal and a traditional wooden gate, all adorned with stone planters and many plants. If you want to enjoy the garden, you can also choose the porch. It is located on one side of the house and has several tables and chairs and an area of sofas and wicker chairs. When the weather is fine, breakfast is taken in this place, to offer the guest a greater connection with nature. On the other side, there is also an area with garden furniture for meetings.
The interior common areas, like the rest of the house, are decorated with very good taste and elegance. Classic sets, but following a line of vintage style. There are many floral decorations or made with natural materials, since our intention is to bring the environment to the guest and get breathe that country air. Despite being very rustic, we also offer Wi-Fi so they can stay connected.
