Description of Gesaltza Etxea
Our rural house is located in the Alava municipality of Salinas de Añana. It is a modern building with 2 floors, and with a capacity for groups of 8 to 12 people.
In the 1st floor is located:
The house is surrounded by a small garden that has covered terrace for lunch and barbecue work.
We have bicycles and maps available for our clients to carry out routes in the surroundings.
Guests of our cottage have free entry to municipal saltwater swimming pools.
In the 1st floor is located:
- A living-dining room that has fireplace and sofa-bed. This stay is attached to the kitchen.
- The kitchen is American style. To his credit there is everything necessary for your stay, for example electrical appliances such as an oven, ceramic hob or microwave. It has wooden cabinets and drawers where all utensils are stored.
- A bathroom adapted for people with reduced mobility, as it has support bars and a shower with screen at ground level.

Salinas de Añana is one of the councils that build on Valle Salado, and is famous for its salt mines that come from an ancient sea.
Nearby is the Natural Park of Valderejo, bathed by the river Purón, y formed by numerous groves. Other Natural Parks within walking distance are the Gorbeia and the Urkiola.
It is worth going to the site where the Salto del Nervión is located, a waterfall over 300 meters high, considered one of the most spectacular in Europe.
Another interesting visit is the Roman mine Iruña-Veleia, que still contains mosaics of the era, or go a Trespuentes donde will see a footbridge that crosses the Roman origin zadorra.
If you feel like going to see Vitoria no problem, because only 29 kilométros separates us from it.
