Estrella Mudéjar

Located in the historical center of the picturesque village of Caudé, this country house is an ideal place to rest submerged in this place of marked Mudejar style, remembering past times and observing the history.

The house is built with the natural materials stone and wood, in the style of traditional architecture. It is an old building of 200 square meters that was rehabilitated in the year 2002 as a rural house preserving its traditional style and its rural atmosphere.

With capacity for 12 people, the house has:

• 6 double bedrooms, 4 of them furnished with double bed and decorated with antique wooden furniture. The remaining 2 bedrooms are furnished with 2 single beds. The floors of some of these rooms still conserve the old tile original of the house, a jewel of architecture that is already seen in few buildings.

• 3 bathrooms, 2 on the first floor and the other on the ground floor, fully equipped to share by all the rooms.

• A kitchen with sabina wood cabinets and that has a washer and all the necessary appliances to make the stay in the house as comfortable as possible.

• A spacious lounge in which to relax in the heat of the fireplace playing board games or watching the television. The room also conserves the curb of the old well of the house.

In addition, the house offers:

• Heating so that guests can regulate the temperature of the house according to the time of year.

• Travel cot for guests traveling with babies.

Caudé is a small town in Teruel that has 232 inhabitants and stands out for its Mudejar towers that were used for the vigilance and defense of the city. It is located a few kilometers from Dinópolis, an ideal cultural park to take children that is dedicated to all prehistoric living beings, especially dinosaurs. In this park you can see skeletons, data on the way of life of these animals and life-size sculptures.

At 7 kilometers from this city is Teruel capital, the capital of less populated province of Spain. In this city, declared a World Heritage Site, you can find several points of interest, among which is the mausoleum of the Lovers of Teruel, which is the tomb of Isabel Segura and Juan Martínez de Marcilla, two lovers of this city who they lived a loving tragedy that is told in legends.

Another of the iconic monuments of Teruel is Torico, a fountain with a doric column decorated with a small bull in the upper area. In the lower part it is surrounded by 4 bull heads that spit water that falls into the fountain.
