El Relax de Sanabria

This stone house is in Trefacio (Zamora), one of the villages that make up the Sanabria region. These municipalities flourish around the lake that bears the same name, making them striking places full of native flora and fauna.

The house can accommodate a maximum of 6 people, and has the following rooms:

• a bedroom with a marriage bed. It is a simple but cozy room with cream walls. The bed is covered by a white quilt, and has a wrought iron headboard with bars. There are a couple of dark -colored bedside tables, one on each side of the bed, which have two drawers each. In the bedroom there is also a closet, and heating.

• 2 bedrooms with 2 individual beds each. The beds have white bedding, and forged black iron headboards. Among the beds there is a small night table made of wood, next to a plug to load some small electronic device. In one of the walls there is a wooden closet with sliding doors. On the opposite side of the room there is a window that serves to ventilate.

• a bathroom. It has the walls that covered with white tiles, and the ground of reddish tiles. At the entrance is the white ceramic sink with a small bathroom mirror, while in the background are the toilet and the bathtub, which also has a shower handle. It is covered by a white curtain with spiral black details.

• room. It is surrounded by carved stone walls, and reddish tile soil. There are two wide two -seater sofas and three plates, organized around a wooden coffee table, and at the same time pointing to the TV flat screen, which is placed on a wooden furniture with a few shelves.

• cuisine. It is an elongated space with white tile walls. It consists of a long greenish marble countertop and several wooden cabinets. There is a washing machine and a dishwasher installed among them. At the top there is a hobrorate and a microwave, in addition to the sink. There is also a large nevera with the entrance. On the side of the dining room there is a wooden table with chairs and space for 6 people, next to a cupboard with glass showcases in which some makeup is saved.

Outside there is a small garden with some furniture and a barbecue to enjoy a good lunch to grill.

The house is a few kilometers from the Lake Sanabria, which is an important part of the natural park of the area. It is a perfect place to do hiking or cycling, surrounded by vegetation and without any pollution.

Trefacio is a small town in the Sanabria (Zamora) region. It is a cozy and very rustic place, with some monuments and places of interest such as the parish church of San Mamés. It is a building of great relevance in the historical heritage of the municipality.

This town is also an area that is part of the Camino de Santiago, so it is not uncommon to see people pilgrimage to the Galician city. Many make a mandatory stop in the old house of the priest.

The house is less than 10 kilometers from the Lago de Sanabria Natural Park, which bears that name due to the large mass of water around which the perimeter of this protected space is formed. It is a famous park for the numerous species of amphibians that inhabit it.

In San Martín de Castañeda, a nearby town, there is an interpretation center dedicated to the preservation of this natural space. It is known as park house.
