We are Ana and Pedro, a Madrid couple with roots in Sobradillo. In search of a more natural and accompanied way of life for us and our children, we decided to start a new journey in the Arribes del Duero. The Rural House El Patio del Arco is one of the pillars of this vital project and an activity that makes us really happy.
Our priority when it comes to equip and decorate the Arch courtyard has been the comfort and functionality of all its elements.
There are many ways to enjoy the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. Its forests, meadows and streams can be traveled on foot or by bicycle. The winding roads that link the various locations are a real enjoyment of landscapes and viewpoints on the cannons of the Duero and its tributaries.
The boat walks are undoubtedly one of the most recommended activities. Also the visit to the settlements or vetum castros of Las Merchana and Yecla, as well as the Green Sowing Rock Station, declared World Heritage by UNESCO and very close to the palaciega Villa de Ciudad Rodrigo.
The villages hide ancestral corners, places and traditions that their people explain with great kindness; All linked to work in the field, earth and grazing.
