El Molino de Foz Calanda

Located in the small town of Foz Calanda, this rural house is ideal for spending a weekend in the countryside with family or friends enjoying the magnificent environment that surrounds this quiet place.

The house is an old stone and wood building in which the oil and cereal mill is still preserved, as well as the original hydraulic tile floors that give the house a particular charm.

This house can accommodate up to 9 people and is divided into the following rooms:

• 5 bedrooms, 2 of them with 2 single beds and the other 3 furnished with a single bed each. In addition, up to 2 extra beds can be added to expand the capacity of the house.

• 2 bathrooms, both equipped with hairdryer, towels and hand soap for guests' comfort.

• A fully equipped kitchen with everything necessary so that guests can comfortably carry out household chores. These devices include a washing machine to facilitate laundry.

• A living room to relax and unwind in front of the television after a day of visits and excursions around the surroundings.

• A large furnished terrace where you can enjoy breakfast and meals outdoors while taking in the views of the surroundings.

• An old wood oven still in operation that will allow guests to make succulent roasts, as well as heat the house.

• A garage to be able to park the car easily and without problems.

With a population of 299 inhabitants, the Teruel town of Foz-Calanda is one of the small towns located in the east of the province. Numerous signs have been found around this town that show the existence of Iberian settlements in this area. On the outskirts of this town is the Val de la Piedra, a rocky valley where you can take various excursions.

Very close to this town is Alcañiz, the capital of the Bajo Aragón region. In this city you can find points of interest such as the church of Santa María la Mayor, an old collegiate church with a baroque façade from the 18th century, or numerous palatial mansions from the 18th century with late Renaissance façades that give the historic center a special color.

On the outskirts of this city is Motorland, a city dedicated to motors that has several circuits for cars, including a racetrack and a kart circuit. Not far away is the Val del Charco del Agua Amarga, where several cave paintings that have been declared a world heritage site are preserved.
