Our rural house lifts its walls in the municipality of Gérgal, in the province of Almería. It is located in the natural landscape of the Tavern Desert s, at the foot of the Sierra de los Filares. It is located in a farmhouse surrounded by areas where you can enjoy the outdoors, in addition to the house.
The house is from the year 1900, but has been renovated and restored maintaining its traditional structure but without neglecting the comforts of our era.
The house has a capacity for 14 people, spread over 6 rooms.

- A room with fireplace in which to warm up next to the fire when the cold temperatures arrive in the coldest months of the year. It has a door, so your security is total. There is a flat screen TV and the sofas and armchairs. All the furniture is of excellent quality. The ceiling has wooden beams and the decoration is careful to detail. We also offer wifi.
- The kitchen is spacious and bright. It has all kinds of appliances such as the washing machine or the microwave and dishwasher and the furniture is made of wood. It has a table of dining room in the center so that the tenants eat in family and harmony. The countertop is made of granite and the ceramic hob. It also has small appliances such as a toaster or a coffee maker and a complete kitchenware.
- The house has 6 bedrooms, all with a double bed, except for one, which has 2 double beds. All the bedrooms will have the sheets, duvets and towels that are needed to stay at the house. Windows with their wooden shutters and wooden cabinets too. The house has central heating and air conditioning to maintain a pleasant temperature at any time of the year.
- There are 6 bathrooms too, one per room. All fully equipped with your shower and hair dryer.
- On the top of the house is the terrace. It has a solarium and spectacular views. If you want to enjoy a beautiful sunset or see the stars, here is your chance.
- In the area of the barbecue there is enough space for very large groups. It has a wooden picnic to sit down to eat. A stone barbecue and its sink and kitchenware. All this is roofed to protect us from the sun in summer and from the rain in winter, always thinking about your use and enjoyment.

The environment of this wonderful house fits perfectly with rural tourism and very natural. But if one day you want to visit a big city, Almeria capital is 20 minutes by car and Granada one hour. In our surroundings you can do activities and visit very different places. From a desert, to a mountain full of trees, passing by beautiful beaches. As the variety is so great, we will give you a couple of examples to visit:
- The Tabernas desert, just 10 minutes from the house, is our first recommendation. Many films from the West have been recorded here. It is a different landscape that nature gives us and that you will love.
- The Astronomical Observatory of Calar Alto, just 30 minutes from the house. It is a Spanish-German observatory with spectacular views and also very interesting to visit.
- Finally, the Almerian payas as Cabo de Gata at an hour from the farmhouse. A magical place with its crystal clear waters and rocky coves where you can bathe in the Mediterranean Sea.
