El Chalet de Rascafría

Welcome to the Sierra de Guadarrama and to our accommodation in which you can enjoy nature, peace and tranquility that is lived in this area of ​​ Madrid, but above all of hospitality and comfort so necessary in your weekend or vacation escapes.

The accommodation is located a few meters from the Plaza Mayor de Rascafría, so you will have access to the main restaurants and services of the population as businesses or supermarkets, but always from a section section in which you can be at ease and your air.

Our villa has capacity for 6 people, so it is perfect to come as a family.

It is totally independent and has a great garden which we are proud, the jewel of the accommodation; You can enjoy their wide meadow for which children can be in danger, make outdoor games with friends or simply enjoy meals or dinners prepared in a great barbecue. Other things you will find in our garden are a slender guindo, Flores, a game house, a goal to play football and also chairs and tables to accompany the aforementioned barbecue.

The house has 3 bedrooms with bedding. A marriage room, another with 2 individual beds and the 3rd with a litera. A travel cradle is also available if you need it.

There is a full bathroom, we leave it well equipped so you don't need to bring anything from home: gel and shampoo, dryer (hand) and, of course, shower and hand towels.

the room is wide. The best thing is that it has chimney to enjoy the fire in the coldest months of the Madrid mountain range. We include the firewood for free. It also has television with cable hdmi in case you carry a playback gadget and there are wi-fi throughout the villa.

The cuisine you will find it fully equipped both at the M). You have 3 types of coffee makers for breakfast, juice and a toaster. Also all the usual appliances of your house such as the washing machine, the dishwasher (on vacation dishes are not washed), oven, microwave and a blender. We also wanted to have a detail with the children also making available to the traveler a dishes with children's motifs and a trona. Obviously we also have adult dishes.

All the windows of the house and the rooms have mosquito nets, to guarantee the rest in summer and in winter we use the heating with diesel to be a comfortable home.

The population of scratch, as well as the surrounding peoples are rich in points of interest, restoration, museums and sports activity in any of the stations of the year. From the Sierra de Guadarrama you can enjoy the whole range of colors that nature gives us, depending on the time of the year in which you decide to visit us.

We recommend visiting the town and the town hall square for its proximity to accommodation.

There is a wide range of hiking routes that can be made from the villa. One of the most famous and beautiful in the route through the Finnish forest, but there are others that you can do as the ride through the path of the devil's car, the upload to the Peñalara or the excursion to the millenary knuckoo and many more.
You can also do other a bit more sports activities, such as canoeing rental or paragliding routes in the Lozoya Valley.

It is a visit of the most common that of the monastery of Santa María de El Paular (there are people who stay for this reason), although there are many other charming sites not so known to tourists.

The Valdesquí station we have located less than 30 minutes by car, so if that is your final destination, you will also stay close.
