Castelserás is an 830 inhabitants municipality that is in the Lower Aragon region, in Teruel. It is a medieval route town, so the tourist can enjoy the tortuous layout of its streets, which gives it a lovely air. In this town you can see the house of the town, a 2 -storey building that houses inside Francisco Marín Bagüés painted in 1917: “The Castelserás shield”.

The town also retains the Palace of the Encomienda, built at the end of the fourteenth century, which belonged to the Order of Calatrava and that today houses 2 museums: that of botany and painting. However, the most spectacular monument of this town is undoubtedly the bridge over the Guadalope River, a construction of Roman origin that has been renovated in later centuries, although it retains a lot of its original stone.

Very close to this town you can see the glass gross, a set of caves and karst galleries that offer a real geological show of stalactites and stalagmites. They are called that because their stalactites have strange ramifications, reflexes and irisations that remind of a crystalline material.
