El Baúl

This rural accommodation is located in the term pucelano de Castronuño. The municipality is located in the plain of one of the meanders of the Duero River.

The main feature of the facade of this rural accommodation is the stone and the wrought iron bars. And it is that the construction of the house dates back to the XIX century, later rehabilitated and restored for the enjoyment of the tenants

It has capacity to accommodate 8 people, distributed in 3 double rooms and 1 double. Although we also have the possibility of including 2 more beds in any of these and thus expand the capacity to 10.

The double rooms have been furnished and decorated with a single style. They have an old and restored cupboard, and the corresponding bedside tables. The main room also has a TV set.

The bathroom that has the accommodation is to share among all guests and in it you will find all the toilets and the towel sets for your stay.

For its part, the kitchen is also fully equipped with the appliances, tableware and kitchen that you need, and decorated with brown tiles, according to the real estate wood.

The living room has several tables and sofas in which to rest in front of a large TV. It has stone walls halfway up, you can see the wooden beams and is broadly illuminated thanks to the huge window and access to the terrace.

A terrace that is composed of a paved space and decorated with a nice old well in the center. It also has a porch to enjoy our barbecue with friends.

The village of Castronuño goes hand in hand with the meander of the Duero creating an idyllic landscape. The hermitage of Santo Cristo is located on the banks of the river and dates from the 12th century, with Gothic influences.

Just 2 kilometers from where we are, is the reservoir of San José, converted by birds into an excellent refuge in the winter season. A place conditioned for you to practice fishing.

All this is included inside a protected space, with great relief and at the foot of the mountains, which makes it the ideal place to go for walks and feel the heart of Mother Nature.
