Cortijo Palitroques

The Cortijo de Palitroques rural house is located in the municipality of Carcabuey, in the province of Córdoba.

This farmhouse from the early XX century XXS2 has been restored preserving the classical architectural features, the wide walls to protect the dwelling in cold weather and attic ceilings with wooden beams, but adding all the comforts that are needed in our times.

Our accommodation can accommodate up to 10 people.

Outside we find a large patio fully equipped with garden furniture. In the barbecue we can enjoy leisure time with our group of friends or family around some embers. We also have a large pool overlooking the mountains of the Cordillera Subbética.

It consists of a fully equipped kitchen, American style, decorated in Andalusian style with vases and tiles. Attached to this room is a cozy living room equipped with comfortable armchairs and a brick fireplace.

The rest area is divided into 5 rooms, dos of them with double beds and three doubles with simple decoration and fitted wardrobes. Two of these double rooms are attic with heat and cold air conditioning.

It has two bathrooms completos to share decorated with ceramic tiles.

Located between the massifs of Cabra-Luque and Rute-Horconera, Carcabuey is positioned among the rivers Palancar and Morisco creating a spectacular landscape to be able to walk around.

This municipality is known for its castle located on a hill so the view of the town is privileged. Inside we find the hermitage of the castle, with white walls that contrast with the stone of the building.

All this is included at the doors of the Natural Park of Sierra Subbética.
