Cortijo Casablanca

The Cortijo is a current rural house, which has been restored, but preserving the structure of the typical Andalusian farmhouse from the 17th century.  It is located in the province of Córdoba, specifically between the municipalities of Almedinilla and Priego.

It is a sybaritic accommodation as it has exquisite decoration. For example, the dining room table, whose design is from the owners of the time, comes from a centuries-old hand-carved wood called Artesa. It should be noted that the furniture is a family inheritance, and that it was restored following the baroque style of the 17th century.

Inside the rooms it houses are: a living room, kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The living-dining room has a stone-built fireplace in front of the sofas. In the dining area there is a large glass table where up to 10 people can sit and eat. The kitchen has a countertop on which you can work and that holds electrical appliances such as the microwave. This room is equipped with appliances such as an oven, among others, and also contains dishes and kitchenware in cabinets and shelves.

The 5 rooms are double, 2 of them with a double bed and the remaining 3 with single beds. It is possible to attach 4 extra beds.

The 2 bathrooms are complete, and one of them is where the dryer is located.

The exterior of the farmhouse is surrounded by a terrace where you can see wide views of the valley, as well as enjoy all the solar luminosity that comes in through the large windows. The accommodation also has a swimming pool and barbecue.

There is central heating in each room.

The price is for 10 people or more, the 4 extra beds have an additional cost of €12 per night.

The rural accommodation is located near the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park, where the highest peak in Córdoba stands out: the Tiñosa. The natural park has various hiking routes such as climbing to Tiñosa or other recreational activities such as searching for fossils or mountain biking.

Priego De Córdoba is a town that had enormous importance during the Civil War, and that currently preserves remains of that catastrophe.

As for its heritage, its balconies, castles, and chapels are popular, which mix styles and preserve motifs from the Al-Andalus era.
