Colores - Entre Babia y la Luna

Welcome to Villafeliz de Babia, a small village in León that has no more than 50 inhabitants. The town is located in the central part of the Cantabrian mountain range, very close to Peña Ubiña, one of the highest mountains of this mountain range. The landscapes surrounding this village are fundamentally of limestone and are plagued with lapiaces, dolinas and simas with large nests, although in this area forests can be found on the banks of the river Luna, in which trouts can fish.

In this area, the Lagos de Saliencia can be found in the province of Asturias. They are part of the Somiedo Natural Park and receive the names of Calabazosa or Lake Negro, La Cueva, Laguna de Almagrera or La Mina and Cerveriz. Very close to here is the Valporquero Cueva, a gallery of which you can visit 1,300 meters, which extends through 6 rooms that have geological formations of different levels of complexity. Many of these formations have received names because they remember different elements, such as "the organ" or "Diana's bath."
