Casa Rural Olivar de Gredos

This rural house is away from any urban nucleus. It is close to Arenas de San Pedro (Ávila), almost hidden in a small wooded mountain.

Housing has capacity for 6 people. Your stays are as follows:

• 2 bedrooms, one double and another individual. One of the rooms is larger than the other to be able to admit a supplementary bed inside. It has great windows that give beautiful views of the mountain, in addition to some furniture such as cabinet and a mustard color sofa.

• a bathroom. It is divided into two by a small wall of glass cubes that is responsible for covering the shower dish. On the other side there is a toilet and a sink on a wooden furniture. The bathroom is in a white frame flanked by two lamps.

• room. It is a space with access to the exterior that has a two -seater red sofa, in front of a television and the wood chimney. Among these there is a coffee table with the glass surface, in addition to a small breakfast table with space for 4 people.

• outdoor room. It is a room surrounded by windows that offers a panoramic view of the mountains. It has several white sofas, near a chimney and tables. There is also a dinner table with space for all the inhabitants of the house and a television of flat screen.

• cuisine. It is a small space next to the inner hall that has a small wine library in which to leave some bottles of wine. There are also microwave and a large metallic tone. It has a wooden countertop that separates it from the next room.

The exterior of the farm has a pool outdoors that have great panoramic views of the Sierra. Near this one, under the porch, the terrace furnished with a dinner type and some comfortable seats is organized.

In addition, you can enjoy the barbecue to organize a good summer comilona.

Arenas de San Pedro (Ávila) is a rural town on the outskirts of the Regional Park of the Sierra de Gredos. Inside and the surroundings there are some places of interest to explore.

The Cuevas del Águila, for example, are a set of galleries full of stalactites and stalagmites of crystallized limestone. Your tunnels can be toured almost whole in a 35 -minute route.

Within the town, the main religious building is the parish church of Our Lady of the Assumption. Although he has suffered many reforms, he still retains the Gothic style with which it was built in the fourteenth century.

In the oldest part of the municipality we will find the Castillo de la Sad Condesa, or Castillo Álvaro de Luna. It currently works as an exhibition room and museum.
